I've been shuffling around the same 6 lbs since I started WW and I'm tired of it! I know it doesn't work for some people to set "timed" goals but I'm such a calendar/to do lists/planner driven person that I think that this will really work for me! If I don't hit it, its okay...its not the end of the world but at least this way, I don't get into the mentality of "Oh, I'll just do better/eat better/run more...NEXT week!"
Goal Met: March 8, 2008
2. Lose 10% of my body weight.
As many of you already know, this is everyone’s first goal at WW and so I’m making it mine.
3. Get out of obese BMI to Overweight BMI.
That would be moving from a BMI of 34.9 to a BMI of less than 29.9 (anything less than 30) so that’s my next goal. I’ve been “obese” for atleast 6 years from what I can remember so it’ll feel fantastic to be “overweight” again. For 5′4” height, a BMI of 29.9 is 174 lbs so thats my next goal.
4. Reach 165 lbs.
I can’t remember being at this weight since high school so this is my next goal. Also, when I get here, I will be about halfway to goal weight and I’ll have 40 lbs left to lose for goal.
5. Run a 5k
It takes a lot of motivation for me to exercise and I think working up to running a race will get me back in the gym and reintroduce me to all the reasons I loved working out in the first place. Plus being a runner has always been something I aspired to but thought was too unrealistic...my excuse? I just wasn't built to be a runner! Well I'm changing my build now so I'm out of an excuse.
